Good morning folks  frow.gif

It's hard to believe it is only 7 here and yet it is mid-morning there

but the sun is shining and it is all of the mid 60s and yet if you go

just a bit in off the coastal areas it gets hot quickly.

Hope you all don't get the heat you had lately and have a

good day

I wasn't there... so cannot vouch for WCA or this unknown person. But we all know how hot it was today.... I myself would not knowingly box up my own animals to sit in this heat... to sit through an auction. So.... you can't lay all the blame on WCA. People did take their poor animals to sit in those hot boxes.hmm.png

Yep I agree it is a two way street. I dont understand how anyone could let their animals suffer in the a box with no air flow or water in this heat. Makes no sense. I would not buy an animal either , eventhough they are suffering. Some people have no sense or just dont care about their animals . Shamey on them.tongue.gif

I hope everyone gets what we just did.  A small spurt of rain that only lasted a few minutes dropped the temp from 96 to 76 in 20 minutes.

When it started clouding up good I went out to move a couple feed pans under cover.  I also made sure the 4 lone young ones and the 10 with a mama were in shelter somewhere.  As a good breeze got going I sat in my chair on the backporch.  The temp dropped so fast that I about fell asleep on the back porch.

Every window in the house is open and my window fans in my room are going.  I hope to actually be able to get some sleep tonight. fl.gif I don't/can't sleep in the heat we have been having.

That sounds refreshing... big_smile.png

Here it is still raining hard after 15 min's and the temp dropped from 98 to 73 in about the same time. Now if it would stop with all of the lighting, I could go out and get stuff done! I don't do lighting very wellhide.gif, but will do chores in the raintongue.png

Edit to add that after about 20 min's of rain it slowed up alot so went outside and looked at the ol rain gage, Have 3/4" of rain so far and it started up again, just not as hard as before.

Got a very refreshing rain, the chicken all ran back into their coops when the wind started but as soon as the rain began they were all outside getting soaking wet and eating every bug that showed itself
