Beth, thanks for posting that article.  That's an example of something much worse.  Those dogs are suffering, which is something my birds aren't doing.

Perspective.  I'm working on it.

Meg and Chris, plus mastiffs Murphy, Jake and Reilly, and Great Dane Levi. Orpingtons, Welsummers, Ameraucanas, Barnevelders, Rosecomb Brown Leghorns, Cuckoo Marans, and a few turkeys, along with NZW rabbits, summer lambs or calves, and who knows what else.

I have a question for Guinea owners in NC.. are any of you willing to part with two hens around the time of Chickenstock? I put it on my wants list but I figured I might have some luck asking on here to see if anyone wanted to presell. Thanks guys (:

I saw that on the news last night.... it kills me to see so many pets mistreated.... to only know pain from human touch... instead of love. Pets are supposed to be companions.... not baby-making machines that become disposable once they are all used up. Such a pity. hmm.png I hope they find loving homes for all of them.

I have a question. I recently purchased a large homemade rabbit hutch. It is separated in the middle by a solid wall. The bottom wire needs replacing and one door hinge is messed up but other than that, its in decent shape. I would like to know if I could put a pair of bantams in one side (they would have outside forage time during the day) and my rabbit in the other (he is going to have his own little run for the daytime). Is it big enough? The side the birds would share is 30" X 36" and the side the rabbit would have is only 24" X 36" because he will mostly be in the movable run I'm building for him.

That would work fine.   Actually, you could build a run right off the hutch for the bantams and make them a ramp to get up and down.  smile.png
