What do you do with your bedding after you clean your coops?  My dogs would eat it sickbyc.gif if I put it around my flowers.  Any other ideas?

If I can put my nose to it with no strong smell it goes straight to a garden bed. If it smells of ammonia it goes on the compost heap. If you want another garden bed you could lay some newspaper down to kill the grass and start your compost pile where you want the garden next year. This way you don't have to load it in the wheelbarrow twice and you should never have to till the garden!

Using it for my flower beds WAS the plan....however, my goofy Bassets think it is an appetizer.... sickbyc.gif  And alls that is doin is making them sick.   Gonna ask a few friends if they need any compost for thier gardens/flowers.

Dogs are so silly. My goats are more picky eaters than my dogs!

I'm sure you will have some happy friends!

Thanks for the good wishes.  I'm trying to remain positive, but my natural paranoia keeps bobbing to the surface.  But Wednesday I'll know something one way or another.  Tnd either way we go, I've got a plan.  This too shall pass.

Had a lovely visit with CSB and RF this morning.  Thanks, Ladies!
