Annnndddd.......Good Morning, Everyone!

I must say I'm not looking forward to cold weather.  Cold and I do not agree at all.  I'd rather be very overheated than one degree too cold.  Ah, well....seasons come and go and I can start looking forward to spring!

I've also had broodies kill their own chicks, so wouldn't even try them with adoptions.  But most are thrilled to get chicks, or pipped eggs.  I don't set them on eggs, though.  Just golf balls.  Saves me work, and they've never seemed to note the difference.

And I'm off to work.  Long day today for me and Jake.  Then it'll be over!

Have a great day everyone!

She was raised by my most awesome broody Lily. Hoping she is as good as her “momma”

Are you switching out the eggs?  I have hatched refrigerated eggs twice in the past.  The first had been in the fridge for almost 2 weeks.  That was my very first 100% hatch.

Matt

hide.gif ummm guess I better candle those eggs ep.giflau.gif she has been on them for 10 days.

at 10 days you either pitch them all or you take the "no gos", and let her sit the rest
