Lonely Gander

livin I don't think you can tell by color on the Buffs which is male female only Embdens. I maybe wrong but I don't think so. If she's talking about the pics she posted.
Oops! Thanks, MLyd, I didn´t understand the post properly! I was talking about Emdens. LazyARanch said about the difference in colour of bills in Emdens, but, of course, it´s just the down colour that gives it away.
I knew this poster had put about Emdens, and I got mixed up about the goslings. sorry guys!

I was always under the impression that you couldnt visually tell the sex on a buff. But I've been doing a ton of research, and with embdens, some folks have said the ganders bill and feet are much brighter. Here is a picture of the two before they feathered. The remaining one, crush, is on the left. And when they feathered, marlin (on the right) only got brighter. So maybe I do have a goose left? In that case, getting a goose/gander pair may be okay?

Thanks for your guys' input. I can't stand seeing him (now maybe a her) like this and want to get something ASAP, and all I can find is pairs.
Sorry, Lazy, you can´t tell males and females of most breeds by the colour of the bill and feet...it just depends on what they´ve inherited. Best way to tell is behaviour.
