Hey, I've got three muscovy ducks and I was wondering if any of you can tell me if my muscovy is a male.

I just found three eggs in the duck coop and apparently the ducks can lay eggs without a drake (I'm new to this whole thing) but I want them to be fertile etc anyways could any of you please tell me if my duck is a male please? (Thats Charlie, im wondering if charlie is a male bc it seems like it)

Here is my other ducks if you want to see them
This is Ryan I believe she is a girl

And this is Chandler sorry bad pic of her because she hates me and cameras hahah

They are all the same age so thats why I was wondering if Charlie is a male.

oh and here are the eggs!! :D

i honestly think charlie is a boy, i mean they are all the same age and he does the huff type noise and the others do different sounds and i saw him get on top of ryan while holding her down so yeah, i dont know. They are all 5 months old so yeah haha. Also i have another question if you dont mind answering.. my duck ryan is laying, she started yesterday or two days before since i found three eggs anyways, she laid her fourth egg today and she gets out of the coop and she doesnt come back in till the end of the day, is she suppose to sit on them at least once through out the whole day to you know keep them warm or does she sit on the eggs once she has popped out the full clutch??

Muscovy's don't quack they are called quackless ducks they may let out a quack if someone grabs them but usually the girls trill and the boys hiss and huff. but you may not see alot of that hiss and huff at 5 months. But size will give the drakes away they are alot larger than the ducks and from head to tail much longer and their legs are set farther apart under them. The girls are shaped like an American foot ball and their legs a set closer together to where they look like they will step on their own feet when walking.. and just because they start to lay doesn't mean they will go broody right off, but it probably won't be long since Muscovys love to brood. She'll build her clutch first from 4-20 eggs depending on how many you allow her to keep. But before you let her sit I hope you have a plan for all the ducklings that is our responsibility to make sure they either have good homes or we provide a good home for them. And raising for meat comes in there too.

If you see all that red on charlie face then I would think he may be a male, normally female ducks will not brood until they lay all of them , thesis so that all of her baby's hatch around the same time.
