Weird breathing noises

I've noticed Sweetpea has been making weird noises when she breathes (usually when she's been foraging on the ground). It's sort of a whistley wheezey noise. She's been doing it on and off for a few weeks now. None of the others do it. She seems happy and healthy, eating well, running around, supervising her chicken babies Could it just be from her breathing dust?
 
Is there any nasal discharge or swelling under the eye? Also look for foam in the eye. Open her mouth and look for mucus in the back of the mouth. Some raspy breathing sound can be associated with high heat and panting but if you hear it when it is cool outside you may want to take notice.
 
No there's nothing obvious, I can't get near her to open her mouth, lol. It was very hot today though, in the 90s, and has been hot for a few days.
She looks fine. I'll just keep an eye on her, thanks.

We treat the flock with Denagard as a preventative against MG, which is what I'm guessing you're thinking with foam in the eye?

According to my vet a lot of respiratory infections are secondary from having Coccidiosis which is what I have gone through earlier this year. If you haven't treated for that or dewormed lately you might want to consider it.
 
If it is usually when she forages could it just be that noise that peafowl make when they find something good to eat when they are foraging? The noise they make is a low squeaky noise but I am sure different birds make the noise differently. Her nostrils don't have dirt in them do they?

Do you have MG in your flock?

WE thought we might have had last fall. This is what we were told to do last fall is treat with the Denagard and it has worked fine, the flock has been fine, and she has normal breathing today. It is much cooler.

The flock is on a deworming schedule as a result of having capillary worms earlier this year. Just dewormed them 10 days ago.

Thanks, I think you are right! She makes the noise when they are getting treats, or when she's foraging with her chicken "babies".
It's a low squeaky noise, like what you described. She is not sick. She is bright eyed, no discharge, good weight, active, cheerful.
