Mites maybe?

Hi guys

Ive just picked up Pinky and Perky from the rescue centre and have found what I think are mites or something on Perky.

Im not to sure though if its just dry

skin?, as non of them seems to move, its just looks like dandruff!

Cant find any more on her, only around her little face and under her beak.

Any advice please?

From what I can see from the photo, it almost looks like lots of lice eggs attached to the feather follicles. I would wash that area of her neck and try to remove as much of the "dandruff/lice eggs" as you can. Oil applications sometimes help when removing eggs, too, if that is what they are.

Once you've removed as much of the stuff as possible, I would dust/spray her with a mite or lice spray/dusting powder. That will kill any alive lice on their bodies.

Ah I thought so, Is there a product in the UK anyone can reccomend?

I have bought a few bits and bobs in the past to be told its rubbish lol
