Hello!

I'm a bit new to chickens and I want to try to hatch out some eggs next year. I'm asking for an incubator for Christmas, but I really have no idea which one to ask for. I've started to do a bit of research on them, but not a whole lot yet. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I've used the Genesis styrofoam incubators with air circulating fans and automatic egg turners a number of times and have always gotten a good hatch rate from them. Murray McMurray has a very nice one for under $200 at http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/full_view_picture_window_incubator.html. Whatever incubator you end up getting, just be sure and get one with an air circulating fan and an automatic egg turner.
