Any Home Bakers Here?

I was guilty of that too. Those little eggs are so good boiled! I'm bummed I can't keep quail any more tbh. I did 5 dozen and only 45 fit in the pickling jar so the dogs and I ate the rest throughout the day.
Are you using a quart jar, or are my eggs just that big? I had to use a Dixi cup after filling a pint jar with about thirty to the very top.

Yes, boiling is the most common thing I do with quail eggs. Duckling eats them as she unpeels them. Kid ate four yesterday in the time it took me to peel my eight! We did forty total.
I scramble up 9 at a time for breakfast too. I did pressure cook two dozen of them last week.

When the new ones start laying eggs, I will have a lot of quail eggs to use up!

Well, about my car, it's either the transmission, or the starter, or both. I'll have to figure it out.

By the way, I need some ideas. I want to try cooking something for my grandfather when he visits, but I'm trying to figure out what to cook. Fishing is off the list because my car is out of commission.

Anybody got any ideas?

Jared
