Ok, cake review. It was ok. Not bad but not our favorite. It was sort of dry and not really fudgy. I had some trouble with it sticking to the pan too (I think that's where the chocolate chips melted in the cake batter). It was very dense and chocolaty but almost too much so (I couldn't finish a small piece). Here's a link to the King Arthur recipe and their picture of it:
The best chocolate cake I've ever made is the recipe on the Hershey's cocoa can. I use the recipe for their chocolate frosting too but make just a 1/2 recipe for icing the sides. I make coconut buttercream frosting for the middle layer and on top. I don't think I've posted those recipes or a picture of the cake but will the next time I make one.
