I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me. Is there an internal cooking temperature for bear?
Yes, but you will have to look it up. I am sure it is the same as it used to be for pork before they decided that their methods of raising hogs in a sterile environment had eliminated the problem. They forget that there is still a lot of pork that is produced in non sterile environments.

Its 160 according to the internet.

I’ve been dealing with this dam oven problem for a couple years! When DH put the new element in about a week ago it worked good- until today, same old problem. The pie was the first thing I baked and it was good, then I made oatmeal coconut cookies and it worked just fine. Now today no good. He put a new sensor in a year or so ago and that didn’t help. But I just have to turn the temperature higher than the recipe calls for and keep checking the thermometer. It’s a pain but other wise it’s a good stove. Gas top.

Report on the Champlain Sourdough Bread: Delicious, hard crust,
very tasty, AND MY HUSBAND LIKES IT. That is an A+ . He does not like
or eat any of my other Breads. I have a special Rolls Recipe he Likes. This
is a FIRST LOVE. And nice texture. It is a Keeper. Will be trying the Tartine
Country Recipe soon. Aria

:wee

Another thing I like is that it is not a huge loaf too

I guess we can't be friends, I love peanut butter!
Me too! I bought a jar today as I was getting dangerously low
I was never a huge peanut butter fan, I would eat it but definitely not my favorite. Then I got really poor and ate peanut butter morning, noon and night because that is all I had in the cupboard. To be honest, I had a jar of mom's strawberry jam in the fridge to round out the PB&J sandwiches when I had brat buns (free as leftovers from club fundraiser).
Somehow, 20 years later, DH has gotten me back to eating PB&J sandwiches. I had 2 on Saturday in fact. 1 with Smucker's Strawberry Jam and the other with seedless Red Raspberry Preserves. Both were excellent. Probably done eating anything with peanut butter for a couple months.
I love the Smuckers Strawberry in the squeeze bottle.

Very nice!

Cutting in here real quick, sorry -- I made these about a month ago:

they're little chocolate cakes that I baked in a silicone hemisphere mold. The topping is melted chocolate beaten with some cream and stick margarine. they were very good, but also rich. I'll see if I can find the recipe again.
