Wow oh Wow...She (Penny) was 20 weeks old on 16th August and on that day deposited 5 eggs before 6.00AM in the lay box in the coop. ..plus one at mid day.(almost the world record which is 7 eggs in one day from one chicken) Since then she has laid one egg per day at approx mid-day.. Licken (my other Cinnamon Queen) has laid one egg every day at around mid-day too. She started laying 3 days after Penny. Penny lays rather darker brown eggs than Licken.. They are all small eggs weighing 1.6 and 1.7 oz's each. My little one, an Olde English Game Bantam is the same age but has not laid any yet.. .. I have 2 Cochin Cockerels (also same age) who are active with both Cinnamon's but no fertilized eggs so far. I am hoping to hatch 2 more chick, hens. Then my mini farm will be complete with 3 goats and seven chickens. Pics are Cochin Cockerels, Queens, and Bantam

OOpsy my bad I should have posted this in a chicken thread not a duck thread..sorry, I'm a noob on forums and make many mistakes

Is there anyone here who can move this post to the correct thread please????

Beautiful birds!

Thank you jonalisa, I think they are rather beautiful too. Luck of the draw I guess because I bought them all from a local Tractor Supply store and had no idea what I was getting as they were all just fluffy little day old hatchlings at the time. I do prefer the name 'Cinnamon Queen' over 'sex link' for my laying beauties as they look more like royalty than battery birds to me.
