What is the best way to raise chicks? What type of brooder, feeder, waterer? How warm should the brooder be? What should they eat? Is there something i can put in their water or food to keep them healthier? And anything else that will help keep them strong and healthy? I got my chickens when they were 1 so I've never had chicks...
Also what should i give them when they are adults to keep them happy and healthy and eggs healthy? what type of food and stuff to add to help with eggs and all that. Mine are currently being feed are free feed a layer feed and oyster shells. And what should i have in their dust bath? they have a sand-like dirt and D.E mix right now. I just want to make sure I'm giving my girls and future chicks the best.
Thanks!
