I am having a hard time posting. It can take me 10 minutes to type a post. Letters will skip, the cursor will appear stuck. I have trouble using the erase key and back/del.

It is a complete pain to post. I thought this might be my computer because of a pea soup incident earlier this spring. It is not. I have typed on other sites and Open office with my normal speed and accuracy (34% and 12 words a minute).

This problem started the same time picture uploading problems did. I no longer have any problems with pictures but posting ..

I have no idea if this make as difference, I have a Toshiba with a A-6 quad core, I use explorer 8. I have a touch screen, but I seldom use the touch screen on this site.

I am not a techie, I am old and not so smart on this stuff, thanks.....

If it makes you feel better.......when I try to post about half of my posts just disappear. I thought it was my phone though. Who knows?

If younask my daughter, she will be glad to tell you thst I am the most technologically inept person she has ever met. What can I say? ???

I'm having the same issues....start to type and it's like my keyboard has the hiccups! Skips some letters completely while it's frozen. Backspace and delete keys behave as though they're second guessing me and checking in some obscure grammar book to see if I really want to take out that letter or delete that sentence before there's any response. It's frustrating. I was thinking it had something to do with all of the video ads - seems like the more fussy and detailed the video ads are the worse my computer behaves - almost as if it is focusing on that and ignoring what I'm telling it to do.

We're looking into this!

Please see the information here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/troubleshooting-byc-problems-bugs-error-messages-other-issues

If none of those things help, please come back to this post and reply with all the information requested in that article above, especially:

1) Which browser and version are you using (eg., Firefox 3.5.9, Internet Explorer 7, etc.)
2) Have you deleted your internet cache / browser history of files and tried again?
3) Have you tried a different browser (we suggest Google Chrome or Firefox)?
