My hen has been on her eggs for 2 weeks tomorrow. Once or twice she hasn't managed to get back into the top nest box where her eggs are. I think she even spent a whole night off her eggs. Its roughly 5°C (41°F) at night and 22°C (71.6°F) during the day.

The eggs "should" hatch in about 8 days, but after researching, I doubt they are still viable.
Should I wait and see, or should I put her on new eggs in an easier spot for her to access? Will she stay broody for another 21 days, in a new easily accessible nest box?

Please help. I really want some more baba's and I have plenty of fertile eggs.

Why don't you candle the eggs. You should be able to tell if they are viable. Day 10 - 14 is an exciting time to candle eggs, as there's a lot of development and movement going on. View the candling threads before you go out to candle tonight, so you'll know what you're looking for. Then, if you find that your eggs are dead, you have time to start her on a new clutch. Good luck.

Thank you. I'll do that. If the cranky hen will allow me near her.

I wanted to update! 8 chicks have hatched so far and 1 more is on its way. The other 3 or 4 eggs are not chirping.

They are adorable. 1 pitch black one there too, must be my brahma's little one.
