I have never had chickens till this year. I have away our pure blue amereacana one week ago. He was mating with all of my hens non stop, and crowed like he won the Heisman trophy everyday.
Now one week later one of my barred rocks laid two eggs in one day, and has gone 100% broody. She is mean towards anything that gets near those two eggs.
Is it possible those eggs are fertile? I am hope yes as a barred rocks and blue amereacana chick would be awesome!'
If so do I need to do anything special?
