I have a silkie chick who keeps tucking her head and ends up doing sommersaults. She isn't walking much. Head is always low. What is wrong and how do I help her?

Sounds like she has Wry neck. It needs to be treated asap.

If it's genetic am I screwed? Can you use a neck brace?
It usually a vitamin deficiency. I wouldn't use a neck brace. Just use the vitamins and make sure she gets enough food and water.
Make sure that you give vitamin E, (thiamine B1) and selenium. Silkies can be prone to head injuries because many have vaulted skulls. Decrease her stimulation and noise, and help her to eat and drink. This first link gives vitamin dosages, and here is another thread to read:

She seems a bit better today. Holding her head up somewhat and not doing sommersaults. I have been crushing a selenium pill and mixing with vitamin E and poly vi sol. Do you think that would have enough vitamin B in it? Poor thing. She is still a baby so she's secluded with my other baby silkie in a nice quiet area. I have been feeding her water out of a rabbit water bottle. Tried scrambled eggs this morning but not sure how much she ate. I'll check out those links. Thank you! Thankful for the help in this forum! I'm a newbie to chickens.
