Worms do slow down and quit moving as they get close to pupating. Not sure if that's it or not...

Bran doesn't have DE in, and not all chicken feeds do. But if you use chicken feed, read the ingredients before using for meal worms.

it may be that they aren't used to it yet or it is a different temp then they are used to. Sorry for delay had some crazy stuff happen at the apartment complex i manage.
