Is anyone out there working on a new breed project? I have a few breeds I would like to mate to strengthen the traits or other chracteristics of the breed while yet creating my own signature bird. I know it will take time and several crossings to achieve this. I have Malines, Barnevelders, Speckled Sussex and olden Cuckoo Marans. The Belgian Malines is my workhorse in strengthening the meat qualities of the others. Sharing your ventures and or experience would be appreciated
