Vent Gleet

Hey again, something weird happened the last couple of days and I'm wonering if it has to do with the worms or if I have a larger problem: I dosed them with Safeguard for three days. On the second day two of my laying hens laid eggs with nice shells, and on the third day my other layer laid an egg with a nice shell. That was Saturday. On Sunday I let everybody out for longer than usual because it was finally nice out. When I went out to clean their house and feed everybody I noticed Thelma acting weird, so I thought she was getting ready to lay an egg, but then I noticed that she was walking slowly and weirdly with her tail down; a couple of times I saw her stop and kind of hunch up and look like she was straining, but no egg or poop, it was weird. After watching this for awhile she finally laid a soft egg, and looked a little better and ate and drank and got up on the roost, where she laid another soft egg! I didn't even think that was possible. Now today Louise did almost the same thing! I let the girls out and she actually had a soft egg stuck to her rear end, it was hanging on by what looked like egg white, but I don't think she knew it was an egg. And she actually pooped while it was hanging there. She ran across the yard, so I don't think she felt too bad. She ate a lot of food and grass, and drank a lot of water and then hopped up on the roost (higher than usual!) where she laid another soft egg!
I really have no idea what to make of this. Is it because they didn't lay for awhile when they weren't feeling well? I thought Thelma might be egg bound so I crushed up a Caltrate and fed it to her in yogurt. Should I do that for Louise too? Sorry to be so long winded, but my mind is kinda blown.

Is this vent gleet? I went and bought masses, more ACV raw, Greek yogurt and baby shampoo . Is there a certain process I should follow? Should I put a topical on after her bath?

it was really hard getting a good picture!

Here's a link to Vent Gleet; check out the symptoms and see if any match with your hen: http://ultimatefowl.com/wiki/index.php?title=Vent_Gleet Here are pics of Vent Gleet: If it's not Vent Gleet, use scissors to trim back feathers and fluff on her rear end so that she'll have a clear "shot" to the ground when she poops.
Well I cleaned her up and trimmed her butt feathers. Gave her yogurt and molasses today . If my rooster has been mating with her can he pass it to my other girls? She is his favorite. She was very good just sat and let me do my thing. She was making a purring noise. Is anyone familiar with it? Is it a " I know your helping me" or " I'm mad"

she sat on couch while I dried her never tried to move away.

I feel like my red with vent gleet has a cold too. She is sneezing and one eye is very watery. I watched her in the coop and she stood in same place the whole time. Call me crazy but she was just watching me I feel like she was trying to tell me. Can vent gleet cause cold symptoms ? Or do I have a whole new issue? Is there reason enough to kennel her up and give her a day rest? It's raining around here and I'm afraid she is just getting hit hard! She did lay a egg and her bottom looks much better after yogurt, bath, and molasses. I just changed water to Raw ACV for the day. Any opinions would be great thank you!
