Hi! Am new to chickens and to BYC. Adopted two pita pintas today and already worrying about them! I have a question about watering that I will post in the feeding/watering forum; any advice appreciated.

Thank you! It is an heirloom Villandry marigold from Annie's Annuals. My chickens are pita pintas; super cute. Will put pics on my page later.
 
That is a beautiful flower!! I love Marigolds. Their smell is just heavenly! I planted some last year and let them go to seed. I thought the wild birds ate all the seeds as I had a huge wildflower garden, but the birds must have missed a few seeds because I have several Marigolds that came up in odd places around the garden. LOL

Do you know of the health benefits marigolds have for chickens?! They are laying stimulants, insect repellers, they add color to yolks and beaks and are wonderful smelling!
