I have been given 30 or so hens and 3 roosters of different flocks over the last 2 months. Started with a rooster and 7 hens. Just got the other 2 flocks this week. The other 2 roosters were together. My question is this. One of the new roosters is fighting with a hen from the other new flock constantly. Why is he fighting with her and none of the other hens and not the original rooster? Will the two young roosters try to double team the other rooster? He's pretty and he's getting the job done if u know what I mean.

My last big flock was over thirty and I had three adult roos. Pecking order .... it will sort its self out... Just make sure you have enough room in the coop and run for them to comfortably live. My flock free ranged all day on about eighteen acres... I provided them feeding stations where they could pick and choose and if they got run off there was another place to eat. Same goes for water.
