I'm about 5 miles south of Cash near the Boles Home.

I'm on 2.5 acres, most of which is heavily wooded. The trees around here are loaded with hawks.

I know exactly where that's at. I've passed by Boles Home have visited Caddo Creek landing many times. My father and I used to fish by boat a lot on Lake Tawakoni. There is also a resident group of Bald Eagles on Lake Tawakoni. A lot of Ospreys as well.
 
Hello BYC people...I received 6 rhode island red chicks from my son a little over 2 years ago, sadly I fell in love. I provided a beautiful coop within a fenced in area for my hens. I let them out to free range all day and they would each go back into their coop to lay their egg...where a racoon would wait for them in broad daylight. I have finally eliminated the racoon that has been picking them off for dinner. I hated to do it. But I now only have 3 hens left and they are afraid to go into their coop! Sad. Sometimes I dont like the circle of life :(
