Nature has it own plans of course and not just a one gen mating... I get that. But have you seen any lavenders crossed to Faverolles (I'm having a hard time finding any). My thought process leads me to think that lavender would be more reliably bred than blue. Thoughts?

I just bred my lavender Ameracauna rooster with my salmon faverolles hen. Their babies are black! They have a bit of brown by their eyes.

That's my blue favaucan roo I also have a black hen :)
 
I have a black/lavender split Ameraucana roo and hen and two pure lavender hens. I was thinking that I could breed Favaucanas if I got a Salmon Faverolles roo for the hens. I am thinking that the offspring would be black.How would I get lavender Favaucanas? And also, would the hens take the Favarolles roo apart?
