our chicks hatched 3 days ago how old do they have to be before they can go outside - we get lots of crows

When we got our chicks, we kept them in for about a week and a half, and then they got to EXPLORE DA WORLD. 
Try to keep them in for as long as they have thin fluffy down, when u see small soft feathers, take them outside. Good luck!

Given the weather I would keep them in until they get their head feathers. We let our little run around during the day unless it's nasty out but being them in at night.
Our silkies have adopted or littles. It's cute when our female brings them food.
