Sex Link Sexing

Well, that answers the question as to the identity of your hen (assuming she has yellow legs which we could not see in your pic). She is a Columbian Rock. That doesn't solve the problem of your hens lacking white underfluff and some white tail feathers. I know that unless the hens are very pure breeds, they don't always have the correct silver genotype to produce sex linked chicks and sometimes in hatchery stock, the purity of breeds gets watered down. Common examples are RIRs without the rich mahogany color and abundance of black tail feathers, and Wyandottes with single combs rather than rose combs, hence the invention of the term "hatchery grade" stock. Perhaps that is what happened here with the Columbian Rock used in the production of these offsprings. Whatever the cause, your hens definitely look more like Production Red hens than Red Sex Link hens.

Originally, I was looking for a 'He' or 'She' answer. Again, way more info than I was initially looking for, but fascinating info. Crazy little rabbit-hole this opened up. Thanks!

I'm glad you have a hen, she's a cute little thing. Looks like you'll have lots of brown eggs coming!
