So sorry to hear that! I know what you mean about physically checking them over regularly. I had a nasty bout of bumblefoot in the majority of my flock this summer/fall, and try to check everyone's feet weekly now just to be sure I don't miss it again.
 
Bumblefoot is not something I've had to treat yet, but no doubt I will need to at some point.

All the other birds are fine, eating, drinking and are well in themselves.
