I have a small flock. White silkies, Buff Orpingtons, white Bantams, a Barred Rock, a Red Rock, and a large orange rooster for whom breed has been an argument. In August I gave my son's science teacher some eggs to incubate. At the time I had more than I could deal with anyway so I figured it was a good cause.
Now my son has brought home 3 chicks which were hatched from the project. Yay. We already have 12 and my hubby is about to have a stroke over the 3 new chicks. Breed and sex are a total crap shoot. I'm clueless. I'll see if I can get them to hold still for a picture.
