Hi I am Diane from Tuscaloosa Alabama and I am looking to purchase some chickens. I grew up with chickens and I am ready to enjoy having some of my own.

I found out we could have chickens when I went to a neighbor's house to make some cards. :) I heard..cheep, peep, cheep..peep peep..I ask, what is that sound? She had chicks in the kitchen in a brooder. I ask, we can have chickens in our neighborhood?? Oh man, did that start something big for me. I love my chickens. :) Have fun on here..go to your state thread..you will have a blast.

Can't wait to follow your chicken keeping adventures! I just started my first flock earlier this year and the BYC site and its wonderful folks have been so amazing!
