I am planning on buying the brinsea mini adv but it doesn't comtrol or read humidity. So 1) how will I know what the humidity is inside( buy a probe?) 2) if humidity is too low or too high, how do you fix it

Brinsea hold humidity very well and from what I have gathered from other people with the mini advance is that you don't need too much water in it. I would definitely go ahead and purchase a hygrometer for the incubator so you can be sure what the humidity is. I got a reptile/lizard hygrometer for my local pet shop for my original incubator it was very inexpensive but the did the job.
If your humidity goes too high you need to remove some water and if it's too low you need to add more water. When adding or remove water I would leave the incubator to settle for at least an hour before taking another reading of your humidity.
Good luck with your Brinsea they are great imcubators :frow
