Newbie needing help

Happy Birthday!

I currently have a pair that are 7 months old. They do just fine together and are inseparable. He does tend to mate her several times a day, so I have 3-5 week old females now---give him more options so he isn't over breeding Phoebe. As far as aggression---I see none between my pair. I also feel like if he is trying to mate and she isn't having it, she will let him know. I went ahead and got more females to avoid the "over breeding" issue before it arose.

We have five ducks, 2 welshy's 1 pekin, 2 crested mixed breeds. 1 of the welshy's is a drake, 1 of the crested is a drake. We keep the cresteds separated. Our Crested drake (Geisha) is very gentle with our crested female (Spats). He is a bit clumsy, but when he mates spats, he doesn't grab her head. He is extremely gentle. Unlike our welshy that is a "Wam bam thank you ma'am" Drake, Fred (The welshy) Is with two females the welshy and the pekin. I think it just has to deal with the ducks personalities as to how many females they would need. Some are just fine with one.. Others, are a little more aggressive. Geisha acts like he needs to go to the movies or something first. Where Fred acts like he will never have the chance of day again any time those females hit the pool he's right on them. So it goes to show the difference in personality's. And how that will impact how well they will do with hens.

They could be a number of ducklings.

Welsh Harlequins, I have seen some yellow pictures of Swedish ducklings, pekins(I don't think so because one of their beaks is dark) There are several different kinds of Yellow ducklings i would do a Google search look threw the pictures, do a bit of research or you could wait tell they are a bit older. Plus They could also be a mixed breed..
