This gal (guy?) was born around July 26, making her 12 weeks old now. I noticed just today that she's sprouting some green tail feathers. I've looked at pics of hens and roosters and can see that some hens have green feathers, can anyone provide some insight based on these pics? I'm hoping it's just too early to tell. She's always been a bit scraggly around the head/neck, and is my most skittish chicken. Funny thing is, she already has both names-Ruby & Ruben!Thanks for looking!
