Hello all! I'm new to chickens and have tried incubating a few batches with no luck. I have since then got a new incubator and am expecting it soon, along with my first batch of call duck eggs. Any suggestions to incubating these little guys would be greatly appreciated.
I have 4 10 week old pullets; 2 ameraucana easter eggers and 2 Plymouth barred rocks
I absolutely love my barred rocks but my ameraucanas are a little skiddish and flighty.

We're glad to have you.

I've never incubated Call Duck eggs before. I suggest posting about the incubation in the Ducks section: Ducks There are lots of knowledgeable duck people who should be able to help you out!

You may also find good information by reading through some of the Incubating Eggs threads or posting there: Incubating & Hatching Eggs

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. I would suggest posting on our duck section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks, and our incubating and hatching eggs section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs, and take advantage of our experts on those two sections. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock and your hatch.

Glad you joined us!

I've never incubated Call Duck eggs, or any duck eggs for that matter, so I can't help you with that. However, I'm sure people in the Duck section of the forums have plenty of duck incubation information that they'd be willing to share.

Good luck with the hatch!

Glad you've joined us! I've no experience with hatching ducks, but there are many, many knowledgeable "duck folks" here who I am sure can help you out - did want to say good luck on the hatch, though!
