I found 2 of my ducks had pipped, and their exposed membrane is tan and dry. I found them around 11:00 and So far i have been putting water around it, away from the beaks they both chirp and move. Is this going to be a big problem? Is there anything i can put on it to help it STAY moist? My brother got the incubater, but not a humidity thermometer, but i see condensation on the veiwing winow if that helps.

Let's see if @Lacrystol or @learycow are around.

I would strongly suggest you post on the Duck Forum and the Incubating and Hatching Eggs forum if you have not already done that.

I am not a hatcher, but perhaps these ideas can get you some help.
