Ideal Poultry Reviews

We ordered from them in September 2018 ... I ordered extra chicks because we figured there would be some shipping looses ... all 25 female and 5 male chicks made it, strong and healthy (I think it's 1 day shipping from Cameron, TX to Central Louisiana)

My only complaint would be that the birds are Backyard flock quality but not show quality!

The local mum 'n pop feed store order exclusively from IdealPoultry, we have occasionally ordered small Orders through them ... not impressed with the size of their Buff Orpington either but their Cochin are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! 🥰

Ordered 12 Turkey Poults through IdealPoultry (IdealPoultry does not hatch them but outsource) and the Turkeys were super awesome too 😍

Here's a few,

My SLWs from this spring. Yes, one has a single comb, which is supposedly common in hatchery-grade Wyandottes from any company. I actually wanted the single comb for a project.

One of my French Cuckoo Marans hens, a breed they no longer carry. :(

Are any of you who hae ordered from Ideal willing to post pictures of your adult birds? I am trying to decide between hatcheries and would love to see your pics of your Ideal birds. Thanks!
I ordered white hollands from them. They were mostly healthy, and i’m happy with them. They all have black speckling though, which isn’t that great if you breed for standard. Probably like 6 months old at this point. They are so white they shine in the sun.
