Do my ducks and chickens have Mites?

You are aware that you'll have to reapply the oil daily for up to two or three weeks to get rid of them that way don't you? I just didn't want you to think that they would be gone after just one application (because that's something I would think...lol !!!). You'll still have to get the nits even after you don't see anymore actual live mites. That is why it takes so long to do with the oils, etc and some people don't have or want to have the time so they use the gasoline method instead. It works very rapidly, as does the Ivermectin.

Yes, you'll have to apply and reapply for, they (whoever 'they' are!??!) say, about 2 to 3 weeks. Me, I'd probably do it for a week to kill the latent nits (eggs) and be done with it unless I saw a resurgence.
