One of my broodys hatched out this leghorn/blue orpington cros... long story short, I had a hawk coming and picking off half of the chicks so last week decided to take the remaining four to raise with some feed store chicks... A couple weeks ago I had some in the incubator hatch and last week put them all together.. Of course the bitties stayed away from the older chicks but for some reason this leghorn decided she was their momma/protector... I think she will be a definite keeper!
