I have just had an update pop up on my iPad, iOS 8.1. I am a little wary of installing it after the last carry on with my iPad and apples rubbish update causing many problems and great frustration. Any one had trouble with it? Should I go ahead and install it? Many thanks in advance for any advice.
 
I had problems with the previous update as well. It completely wiped my entire phone and I lost everything including all my pics. Grrr. Anyway, I installed this update (was also very wary of it) and it hasn't seemed to have any adverse effects.

Just checked my iPad and its running on 10.3.1. - thats all a bit confusing?
