HELP**Hen Laying Down and Acting Strangely

Thanks, Kathy! I figured she was going to die anyway. She went downhill fast. If anything the car ride just ended what might have been prolonged misery. :(
 
Oh, so sorry, I lost one that way too, an araucana. I do believe it was her first egg stuck and she too died in 2-3 days.
 
Thanks araceli, sorry you lost one too. Now we're paranoid the other two girls will have that experience. Neither of them have started laying yet. Hopefully they'll have an easier time of it,
 
I am SO sorry for your loss. They really are more like pets/companions than "just chickens" (as I have been told they are). I hope you and your daughter find peace at this time. ((hugs))
