Great post!Technically a colored muscovy with any white on it (not including the head as white head is a separate gene) is considered "pied". Though some dark colored ducks will get more and more white as they age.
This one is NOT pied. Shes a black barred with a white head. White wing feathers are common and do not make them "pied"
This is a blue pied. Notice how white her chest is
These are both pied. Lilac on the left, chocolate on the right
This is a dark rippled "bibbed". She has a perfect bib, not pied. But the drake behind her is pied
Pied, even though she has black feathers mixed into the white. Also white headed
