How do you tell the gender of a naked neck at a young age ?

It depends on how young the Naked Necks are. When they're really young, their gender can be determined relatively accurately by experienced vent sexers. After that, though, gender doesn't become obvious until they are 6-8 weeks old. At that age, most cockerels are developing larger, redder combs and may begin crowing.
