The pictures aren't very clear but I noticed black areas on Bentley's wattles. He seems healthy and full of energy.

That is so weird...I've never seen a chicken with black/ish wattles. He's eating and everything? Is that the only sign of sickness?

Your roo could have fowl/avian pox. In the above link there is a section all about it. Have a look at the pics and see if they compare to your roo. If it is I would separate him from your flock as this is a virus that can spread.
