Rooster not eating or acting right......comb is starting ti change color on the tips.

Corid dosed for the full 7 days then a day of vitamins & probiotics...... and now I got the Valbazen.....going to worm tomorrow....I weighed the birds today.......wondering if I should do the full dose for bantams of .25 ml/cc for al the birds because the weight on some is low? Here are the weights:
1.16 lb
2.20 lb
1.97 lb
2.04 lb
3.11 lb

My little one who weighs the 1.16 lb's is my little doll baby and I do not want to make her sick with an overdose!!!!!
If you want to give them 20mg/kg, which according to studies is the most effective dose, you would give 0.08ml per pound.

1.16 lb x 0.08 = 0.0928, or round up to 0.1ml
2.20 lb x 0.08 = 0.176, or round up to 0.2ml
1.97 lb x 0.08 = 0.1576 or round up to 0.2ml
2.04 lb x 0.08 = 0.1632 or round up to 0.2ml
3.11 lb x 0.08 = 0.2488 or round up to 0.25ml

Valbazen is very safe, so don't worry about giving them the exact amount.

Probably okay to round up even more...

I give sc injections on their backs. Here are some pictures I took of me giving sc fluids to a deceased bird and to a live peahen:

Insert needle and watch that it doesn't poke back out or you will get wet, lol. Slowly depress plunger and look for leaks. If no leaks, give fluids.

This was the size of the bubble after 75ml.

Here you can see how it's spread under the skin.

Wet area with rubbing alcohol, this will allow better viewing of the injection site.

Hen with toe nail loose....Looks like it is torn off but still somewhat attached. Bleeding a little bit but not a whole lot. She does walk funny like it hurts her. Wondering what to do?????? Shoule I seperate her in the chicken house in a cage sothe other birds will not pick at the blood if they see it. so far they seem to be leaving her alone. What should I do with the toe....leave it alone and let heal....put neosporin on it?????Just not sure any help would be great.

Those can be pretty painful. Mine had one, and I did nothing but watch it. It finally fell off, and she had a sore toe for a couple of weeks. The nail never grew back. I didn't separate mine. If there is blood I would use iodine or BluKote on it to disguise the red color.

Hen with the bad toe is doing BAD.....Toe is ok now ....toe nail fell off some time back but she has something else going on and I do not know what it could be. She has problems walking and it seems like it is both legs! She does eat but not as much as usual so I do hand feed her and she does eat & drink well......except today she drank good but she has been streching her neck out with an open mouth!!!!!!! I am asuming this has to do with breathing but she does not look like her breathing is off. I have 3 antiobotics if I need to use any Denagard 12.5%, Duramycin 10, and tetroxy HCA 280. I feel that she has made a turn for the bad today! Any help would be appreciated.
