Just watched Grave of the Fireflies with my family, and was stunned that I've made it to my 30s without seeing this masterpiece. Heartbreaking and beautiful. You'd have to be made of stone possibly to not tear up for this one.

Makes me wonder what other movies I might have missed.
 
Cold Mountain. I wish I had Ruby here to teach me how to run a farm.

Must see old movie: I.Q. It's a wonderful romantic comedy about Albert Einstein (Walter Matthau) putting his great brain to work on the problem of getting his niece, Catherine Boyd (Meg Ryan) to dump James Moreland (Stephen Fry), her Psychologist jerk of a fiancee, for his auto mechanic friend, Ed Walters (Tim Robbins). Einstein is aided by his three physicist buddies who are hilarious.

Must see new movie: Guardians of the Galaxy; a great mix of action adventure and comedy.
