Hi there! Loved your post. My Rex is going through a false pregnancy now. I know she has not been with a buck yet and won't be for another 10 days. But what do I do with all her lovely work of building her nest? Do I remove it now? Leave it and put it in the box and she gets ready to kindle?Here is the litter all snuggled in their nest!
Everything looks really clean, and the kits all look plump and wiggling. Yay!
I think she is going to be a good mother. The breeder I got her from told me her mother was, and that's typically passed down.
Should I worry about any supplemental heat though? The nest box is inside a house box, but this is an outdoor hutch. It's only 52 degrees here today.
