Rachel, those look like some nice, stocky animals. I hope they do well for you!
Thanks for the prayers and hugs, y'all. The x-rays showed that Mom's upper arm is broken in 2 places. My parents told me that from the paramedics that transported her to the doctor in the ER, everyone was just as considerate at they could possibly be (Dad said the Dr. said "I'm sorry" so often you'd almost have thought it was his fault). They got the arm stabilized with a brace and loaded her so full of pain meds that she barely knew which way was up, but apparently there isn't an orthopedist on call on the weekends. So, they need to get in touch with one today to see what further treatment will be done. Dad is coping . . . . When he went to the local Walmart pharmacy to get the prescription filled, he got there a bit after 1 pm - just in time for them to go to lunch (no criticism of them, everybody's gotta eat). When they got back from lunch, he finally gets to the head of the queue, and something went wonky with the electrical system of the building - a transformer blew, or something. Alarms going off, all of the computers went down, the cash registers wouldn't work . . . . craziness. They eventually filled the prescription for him, handed him a hand-written receipt (once again, people trying to be as helpful as they could), and he gets back to the garden center (the way he came in) just in time to see them locking down the security gate, so he had to trek back through the store - sounds like they weren't going to get things fixed there for quite a while.
