Day 21 and NOTHING! .. I water candle 2 eggs and one did nothing and the other moved... But none of then are doing external pipping. .

What's wrong with them?

So those of you with "wiggling" eggs.. Are you water candling or just seeing them move? And if that's the case what day are you on? I've never seen wiggling this early but should I stare harder?? LOL

ok so I have a question see alot of peeps using to bators one to incubate and another to hatch is this for the split setting hatchs? convenience or some other mysterious hatching thingie?

I do it to keep the Binsea clean and for staggered hatching. I hatched chicks for 9 months straight last year.

All of the above

Temps are likely too low. Get a thermometer that reads in tenths, like the Brinsea Spot Check. My guess is that you incubated close to 98 degrees.

Good news is that they will likely hatch fine for you, just a day or so late. The movement is a good sign.
Temps a bit low maybe? They can take over 21 days even if everything is "perfect"

Oh! :gig Sorry.. Long day. Ummm I'm keeping a really close eye on my BLRW eggs because at lockdown I had two that were for sure good but one I couldn't see much movement at all, and another the chick looked small. However I didn't mark any of them.. LOL!!

All of the EE eggs have looked GREAT from the get-go. They are strong eggs I think! I cannot WAIT TO SEE those babies too, because one EE hen has muffs and a beard.. And dad is the BLRW.. They could turn out really cool-looking!!

Here she is dust bathing yesterday. (BLRW in foreground)
