That made my day! I just had to endure ariel attack this morning... While getting ready for Church, I heard my chickens screaming... The last time I heard them do that, there was a redtailed hawk nearby,,, well this morning when I went out to check, a huge hawk had my 10 week old barred rock roo down but he couldn't lift him out of the pen (I have about 1/2 acre fenced for the chickens) I hustled back to the house and grabbed the 22 rifle and I ran the hawk off... My roo ran back into the bushes in the back of the pen. When I last checked on him, he was dusting under the bushes so he's fine! One tough little bird! So... I was glad to read a story like this one that had me laughing at loud!
