I recently hatched out 2 Seramas with other LF chicks. (Blue Copper Marans, Olive Eggers and Jersey Giants) They are all doing well and getting along fine. They are almost a week old and this is about the time I start raising/hanging the feeders to prevent the mass wasting of feed. Obviously I did not think of the predicament this would place me in with the two different sized chicks.
Do you have any suggestions on how to manage this? I have them on Chicken nipples hung low enough for everyone and they are doing fine (Seramas were actually the first to figure it out)
Should I have two feeding stations? The Seramas are HILARIOUS in how they act like little bowling balls as they push through the LF chicks to get up to the front for food and water, sometimes just even choosing to go UNDER! I wish I could catch it on video!
So open to any ideas!! Thank you!!
